1. The challenge: ensuring quality and inclusion
Before using Textmetrics, the HR teams at the vocational colleges faced several challenges:
- Texts were written by many different colleagues: everyone created their own job postings, resulting in widely varying quality.
- Basic principles such as correct language, structure, and accessibility were not always met.
- There was a need for a way to write consistently better content and to demonstrate active efforts in inclusive communication (D&I).
2. The solution: Textmetrics writing software
Textmetrics was chosen because the tool:

3. Practical use: improving and safeguarding text quality
- Textmetrics is now being rolled out across multiple HR teams at our vocational colleges and is used from the start of the recruitment process.

- Long sentences, vague language, and unclear terms are being systematically addressed.
- When reusing older texts (e.g., for the same role), active improvement is now clearly visible.

- The baseline measurement (e.g., percentage of overly long sentences) provides insight into progress over time.
